We maintain a high standard for our consignment items to provide the community with the most safe, comfortable, and reliable used gear inventory in the area.

Gather Your Gear

Get it out of the closet and back on the trail! Before you stop by, give your gear a quick once-over. (Don’t forget to say goodbye and thank it for the memories). 

Ask yourself:

  • Does it work? Have all the parts?
  • Is it clean? No stains, smells, or pet hair?
  • Ready to sell in it’s current state?

Better condition means better pricing—and more cash (or credit) for you. 

Feed the Good Wolf

Simply bring in your gear—no appointment needed. If you’ve got more than 10 items, we recommend emailing us at howl@goodwolfgear.com to schedule a time.

Want to save time?

Fill it out the Consignor Agreement beforehand—it only takes a minute! We’ll check out what you’ve brought, let you know what we can accept, and give you a receipt for your gear.

Track Sales and Get Paid

Leave your footprint tracking kit at home. Good Wolf Gear provides an online seller portal to keep you updated on gear that’s back on the trail—and when you’ll receive your payment.

After your gear sells, you can receive a percentage of the sale as cash or opt for a higher percentage in store credit to gear up for your next adventure.

Either way, it’s a win.

Earnings increase by 10% if applied as store credit. Example: If consignor has $50 in their consignment account from the sale(s) of item(s), Good Wolf Gear will increase the balance to $55 for an in-store purchase.

Consignment Process

What gear do you accept?

We accept gently used, high-quality outdoor gear and apparel, like backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, climbing equipment, and more. If it’s made for the outdoors and in good condition, there’s a good chance we’ll take it. Check our full list of accepted gear [here].

What brands do you accept?

We focus on trusted outdoor brands known for durability and performance. Think Patagonia, Osprey, The North Face, Arc’teryx, and more. Check out our full list of brands [here].

How do I consign my gear?

It’s easy! Clean your gear, bring it into the shop, and we’ll inspect it. If it meets our standards, you sign a quick consignment agreement, and we handle the rest.

How much will I earn from my consigned gear?

You’ll earn a percentage of the sale price, which depends on the item’s brand, condition, and demand. You can choose between cash or store credit (which earns you a higher percentage!).

How can I track my sales?

You’ll have access to our online portal where you can track the status of your items and see when they’ve sold.

How do I get paid?

Drop by the shop, give us a call, or shoot us an email at howl@goodwolfgear.com to let us know you would like to get paid. You will not automatically receive pay out after an item sells.

We have a several options of payment for you:

  1. Opt for store credit and get an extra 10% added to your balance!
  2. Cash payment in store (for payouts < $25 only)
  3. Electronic payment via ACH

To get paid electronically via ACH, simply update your consignoraccess account following these steps.

Returns and Refunds

New Items

New items can be returned in unused condition and in original packaging within 30 days. The return can be processed in the original form of payment, or store credit. The following new items cannot be returned: food, fuel, hygiene products, and gift cards.

Experienced (Used) Items

Experienced (used) items returned within 3 days will be evaluated for a refund in store credit. Used items cannot be returned after 3 days
